What does NSFW mean?
Not Safe For Work. If you see a post (I’ll always put it in the title) with this in the title, please make sure that your boss, your kids, your mother, etc are not standing around. Otherwise, come back to read at a later time or don’t read it at all if your uncomfortable with the topic of discussion. I’ll normally use this designation if I’m talking about sex, abortion, or another taboo subject in graphic detail. I’ll also clearly mark in the title what the post is about, so that you are aware of the subject matter. Also, if you are under 18 and frequent my site, please make sure you are NOT reading these posts or that you have parental permission to do so. Also, please don’t read these posts on a public or shared computer because I don’t want someone who isn’t as internet savvy to accidentally stumble upon the page.. No lawsuits for Liz, please.
Where do you get your pictures from?
Normally, google. Every once in a while I will use one from my personal collection, but not often. I’m working on fixing the links to the photos so the original photographer can get the credit. No copyright infringement for Liz either. If you would like to have your work featured on my site, please send a message to liz@lizheartshakespeare.com. You can send written as well as photographic work there.
How do I get featured on your site?
Its simple really! Just send an email to liz@lizheartshakespeare.com with your idea. If I think the idea is a good one, I will email you back and ask you to send me the article or picture as an attachment. I will notify you when the work has been posted. If you would like to direct traffic to your site and have people comment there, please let me know and I will modify the work to direct people back to your site. If you would rather remain anonymous, please let me know in advance. Otherwise, please include a brief bio to establish credibility and to let everyone know who you are in your first email. If you are comfortable, please include a photo of yourself to be included with the bio. I do review submissions for content, so please don’t think it will be posted automatically either. Rude, demeaning, or disrespectful entries will not be tolerated. If it continues to be a problem, you will be blocked from this site and you will not be allowed to submit any more content.
How do I comment?
At the bottom of every article, there is a big box. Type your text in there. Above that should be a few smaller boxes, asking for name and email (required). There is also a box to type in your website address, though this is optional. Please fill in the required information and click “Leave Comment.” After the comment has been approved by me or Matt, your comment will be visible. Obviously, the same rule applies here as in guest posting. Any rude, demeaning, or disrespectful comments will be deleted. Also, any spam bots or comments asking me or my readers to go to a different site will not be tolerated. No viruses for my guests, thank you very much.
If you have any other comments, questions, or suggestions, please feel free to send an email to liz@lizheartshakespeare.com!
